Patient Services – Changes Stretton Branch Surgery 1st October 2019

Patient Services – Changes Stretton Branch Surgery 1st October 2019

Dear Patients & Carers

Facing the increasing pressures on General Practice we have made carefully considered changes that long term have and will continue to benefit patients that reside within the locality of our practices. This year in particular has been very difficult due to the loss of 2 GP Partners and the accelerated population growth due the new developments that are in our area. This growth and limited resources have forced the practice to adopt the National common model of surgeries with branch site locations to ensure services can continue and be sustained at a safe level.

Following further discussions the practice has been supported by NHS England, East Staffordshire Commissioning group and LMC to temporarily transfer some afternoon services at our branch site in Stretton to our main surgery at Branston Tuesday to Thursday.

There will be no reduction in appointments or services to our patients. Stretton branch surgery will remain open on the following days.
