Target Ovarian Cancer Charity

We are pleased to share a new support opportunity from the national charity Target Ovarian Cancer.

Target Ovarian Cancer have recently launched a programme called Let’s Connect – a growing network of free, local peer support groups for women diagnosed with ovarian cancer across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. These groups are designed to provide a safe, supportive space for 8–10 women to meet regularly in local venues, either led by a trained volunteer or a local healthcare professional.

Alongside these face-to-face groups, the charity also offers moderated online communities (‘The Ovarian Cancer Community’ and ‘In Touch’), providing flexible, ongoing support for anyone affected by ovarian cancer.

The goal is to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing by giving women a space to connect, share experiences, and access emotional support.
